Aims
 
To prepare students to become competent professionals in the field of work, organization and human resource psychology. This includes developing skills for:

a) Describing, evaluating, diagnosing, explaining and interpreting the main psychosocial processes involved in this discipline.
b) Planning, implementing, controlling and evaluating changes and interventions related to work, organization and human resource psychology.
c) Designing new models, strategies, methods and tools in at least one of the fields in this discipline (organization, work and human resources).
d) Conducting a research project.
e) Completing a supervised professional practice placement to develop key skills and gain experience in key roles.

Pathway 1 of the ERASMUS Mundus Masters includes the following two additional aims:

a) To provide a European framework for postgraduate training in work, organization and human resource psychology.
b) To promote student and faculty mobility in Europe.
 
Admission/selection criteria and evaluation of applicant's academic and other merits
 
Admission criteria:
a) University degree in Psychology (first cycle).
b) Commitment to full-time study.
c) Level of English B1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
d) For pathway 1 of the ERASMUS Mundus Masters, fluency in at least one of the European languages in the Consortium (Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese).

Selection criteria:
a) A more advanced level of English than the minimum requirement (B1).
b) Previous knowledge and skills in psychology.
c) Level of motivation.
d) Optional courses in work and organizational psychology and human resources as part of undergraduate program in psychology.
For pathway 1 of the ERASMUS Mundus Masters, knowledge of more than one of the languages in the Consortium.
 
Specific admission requirements
 
Candidates should be graduates in Psychology, with a satisfactory level of English, and willing to study full-time.
 
Skills profile
 
The Masters develops the following four skill groups:

a) Basic. These skills are required by different types of professionals, including those engaged in work, organization and human resource psychology (e.g. written communication skills).
b) Professional. These skills are profession-specific for those engaged in work, organization and human resource psychology (e.g. evaluation of the psychosocial characteristics of work groups).
c) Enhancement. These skills enhance the quality of professional practice and are common to other professions (e.g. building relations with professionals in other fields).
d) Research. These skills are necessary to ensure good professional practice (e.g.: research design)
