- Management of advanced knowledge and information relating to psychoeducational research and intervention in a variety of educational contexts.
- Critical ability to undertake studies and analyses in education psychology using specialist knowledge and demonstrating conceptual precision and intellectual rigour.
- An ability to employ the methodologies, procedures and instruments of psychological and educational research.
- The general and specific communicative and linguistic skills of the scientific community involved in the use of advanced oral and written resources, as well as in the specialized use of information and communication technologies.
- Personal and interpersonal skills to work in highly specialized and competitive interdisciplinary groups.
Specific skills:
- Evaluation of human psychological development and learning processes, both normal and atypical, from the first months of life to old age, involving the participation of people in a range of educational activities and practices.
- Detection, prevention and intervention so as to promote development and learning in persons with disabilities or those at risk of social exclusion.
- Collection, transcription, analysis and evaluation of data and information and the ability to generate new knowledge concerning learning processes in formal, non-formal and informal educational contexts.
- Evaluation and intervention in the psychological processes involved in the development of educational practices in order to promote the learning and development processes of the participants and to contribute to a better functioning and organization of the institutions involved.
- Collection, transcription, analysis and evaluation of data and information and the ability to generate new knowledge concerning the nature and characteristics of the interactions, activities and language uses occurring during the development of formal, non-formal and informal educational situations and practices.
- Collection, transcription, analysis and evaluation of data and information and the ability to generate new knowledge concerning the psychological processes involved in the learning of oral, written, sign and assisted communication and language in educational contexts in the family and at school, in monolingual and multilingual situations.
- Collection, transcription, analysis and evaluation of data and information, as well as intervention and generation of new knowledge, concerning the psychological processes involved in teaching and learning in educational contexts centred on the use of ICTs.
- Analysis, evaluation and intervention in thought and learning processes involved in the development of formal, non-formal and informal practices, by means of the use of different language types.
