La selecció/admissió dels candidats es basarà en: el perfil de la titulació d¿accés, l¿expedient acadèmic, altres titulacions, CV, coneixement d¿idiomes i informàtica i experiència professional i/o recerca.

The acceptance of the pre-registration applications will be based on: the academic degree of the applicant, transcript of records, other degrees, CV, knowledge of languages and computer applications, and professional and7or research experience.

Aims
|

|
|
The aim of the Masters is to train professionals in the field of the evolutionary processes which generate the diversity of living beings, ecosystems and landscapes. Similarly, it seeks to provide training in the management, conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. Students will acquire the multidisciplinary skills, both theoretical and practical, required for undertaking research, working in the emerging and expanding professions, and managing organizations in the public and private sectors.

Admission/selection criteria and evaluation of applicant's academic and other merits
|
|
|
|
Applications can be accepted from students who have graduated from a university within the European Union in Biology, Environmental Science, Marine Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy or who hold similar qualifications in the Experimental Sciences or Geography. Applicants from outside the European Union will require the express authorization of the UB or must apply to have their studies formally recognized.
Students will be selected on the basis of their:
- academic record
- knowledge of English
- statement outlining the reasons why they wish to take the course (included as part of their application form)
Applicants may have to attend an interview and provide references from their university teachers or researchers.

Specific admission requirements
|
|
|
|
Applicants require a basic knowledge of biology, the diversity of living beings and conservation issues. Students may have to take a foundation module in these fields if they do not have the necessary knowledge to begin the program.
