Recuerda entregar en formato electrónico a masterbiofisica@ecm.ub.es copia de los siguientes documentos: (a) curriculum vitae (detallando el nivel de conocimiento de los idiomas inglés, castellano y catalán, y de informática), (b) título universitario y (c) expediente académico de los distintos estudios universitarios y de posgrado realizados. Si tu título universitario es extranjero entrega también los siguientes documentos expedidos por la universidad: (d) documento donde se haga constar la equivalencia en horas lectivas correspondientes a las asignaturas del estudio universitario realizado que has realizado y (e) documento que acredite que el título universitario que tienes te faculta para acceder a estudios de posgrado en el país que expide el título. Además, puedes mandar información adicional que consideres relevante, en particular en relación a tu interés en el máster (en inglés) a masterbiofisica@ecm.ub.es . La Comisión de Coordinación se reserva la posibilidad de solicitar más información.

Aims
 
The main objective of the Masters in Biophysics is to provide students with a broad base of knowledge and skills in this multidisciplinary field. On completion of the program, students will be skilled in both the fields of physics and biology and in the use of their respective tools. The Masters program adopts essentially an academic, research-based approach, and includes some elements of relevance to the professional biophysicist.
 
Admission/selection criteria and evaluation of applicant's academic and other merits
 
The Masters Coordinating Committee will select students on the basis of their academic record and previous experience.
 
Specific admission requirements
 
The Masters in Biophysics is characterised by its multidisciplinary nature which makes it suitable for both physics and biology graduates. However, it is also an appropriate option for graduates in chemistry as it provides an excellent complement to their undergraduate training. Similarly, graduates in other scientific or engineering disciplines should have the necessary training to complete the Masters successfully.
 
Skills profile
 
The general skills students should have developed on completion of this Masters are: the acquisition of organizational and planning skills, information search skills, critical thinking and logical analysis and the ability to draw valid conclusions. Students will also develop confidence and independence in the analysis of biological problems involving phenomena related to physics. Other specific skills taught by the Masters are the ability to identify the appropriate biological and physical settings and to interrelate them so as to be able to understand a given phenomenon and to establish successful communication and relations with professionals in the worlds of biology and physics. Students will also develop skills in employing the language and concepts of biophysics, as well as those of physics and biology and other related disciplines. Finally, to ensure students achieve the goals set by the Masters program, particular emphasis will be placed on helping students find solutions and make predictions based on the transfer of knowledge between biology and physics, and vice versa.
