Aims
|
|
|
|
The program allows students to opt for one of two specializations: the research (again with two possible study routes available) or the professional option.
Following a good grounding in fundamental and applied physics, the Masters gives students the chance to develop an understanding of laser technology and its applications, an understanding and use of electronic instrumentation for measuring and processing signals, an understanding of the industrial and scientific environment and an ability to lead projects to develop high-end technologies.

Specific admission requirements
|
|
|
|
The Masters in Physical Engineering is made up of two parts or blocks:
- a common block of core subjects nbsp;
- a specific block: corresponding to either the professional or research option.
Candidates can be admitted to the common block on completion of:
- First cycle of an honours degree in:
Physics
Telecommunications
Industrial Engineering
Computer Engineering
- Diploma in:
Telecommunications Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Computer Systems
- Degrees introduced within the framework of the European Space for Higher Education (180 ECTS credits)
In some cases, students may have to enrol on a credit-bearing foundation course.
Candidates can be admitted directly to a specific block if they have been awarded a full honours degree (300 credits current system)in
Physics
Electronic Engineering
Telecommunications
Industrial Engineering
Computer Engineering
and any other qualification considered equivalent by the Masters Coordinating Committee.
